Save the Franklin Battlefield to hold annual meeting and dinner
The annual meeting and dinner for the Save the Franklin Battlefield will be held Thursday, Nov. 19, at St Paul’s Episcopal Church located at 510 West Main St. in Franklin.
The gathering for the meeting is at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30. After the dinner, STFB year’s activities will be reviewed, with the speaker following.
The speaker will be historian and writer Brian Allison, speaking on “Action at Franklin during the Retreat from Nashville.” Allison is currently working on a new book, Murder and Mayhem in Nashville, due to be published in 2016.
