New Girl’s Soccer League

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department welcomes the 2007 Girl’s Youth Soccer League to its new facility; the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park in Brentwood! Registration for girls ages 8-12 is held on Saturdays: Aug. 18, Aug. 25, Sept. 8 or Sept. 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Up to 6 teams per age group are being formed for fall league play. Team fees are $50 per participant with Aug. registration, or $60 during Sept. dates. Fees include a jersey only; with shorts, shoes and shin guards provided by participants. Practices are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays beginning Oct. 2 with league play held the first week of November.

 

Coaches are needed, with training and certification provided free by the National Youth Sports Coaches Association. The training session will be held on Mon. Sept. 24 at the arena. Coaches must have a child on a team in order to apply. All coach positions are held on a volunteer basis.
