New Board Elected

In a recent election, eight members were elected to fill the seats of those who are retiring from the Chamber Board of Directors. The following will begin serving on the board in 2008:

Rufus Bagsby, Regions Bank;  Julian Bibb, Stites & Harbison; David Fulmer, Publix Super Markets;  Dana Katterjohn, CoolSprings Galleria;; Dr. John Klekamp, The Bone & Joint Clinic; Shelley Moeller, Harpeth True Value Home Center; Mark Robbins, Franklin Chop House, and Jerome Terrell, Tennessee Valley Authority.

Those who are retiring after having served for three years on the board are:

Chuck Barber, Middle Tennessee Electric; Greg Davis, Crosslin Supply Company; Dr. Felix Lawrence, Franklin Oral Surgery; Duane Murray, Thompson Station Church; Mark Puryear, Puryear, Newman & Morton, PLLC; Ron Shuff, Shuff’s Music Sales & Studios; Al Thomas, Thomas, Miller & Partners, and Ralph Walker, Columbia State Community College.

Serving as officers in 2008 will be: Chairman: Rufus Bagsby, Regions Bank, Executive Vice Chairman: Dr. David Snowden, Franklin Special School District; President/CEO: Nancy Conway; Treasurer: Rodger Klein, Williamson Medical Center; Immediate Past Chairman: Ron Shuff, Shuff’s Music Studios & Sales.

Directors continuing with two years to serve as board members are: N.A.C. (Currie) Andrews, Andrews Cadillac/Land Rover; Debbie M. Barrett. Williamson County Circuit Court Clerk; Rodger Klein, Williamson Medical Center; Mary Mills, African American Heritage Society; Jim Moody, Moody’s Tire & Auto Service; Mamie M. Sanders, McArthur Sanders Real Estate, Dr. David Snowden, Franklin Special School District, and Pamela Stephens, Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.

Directors continuing with one year to serve as board members are: Harrison Crabtree, Peoples State Bank of Commerce; Eddie Goodwin, APCOM Inc; Debbie Henry, TMA Group/Franklin Transit Authority; Cathy Holland, Metro Nashville Airport Authority; Doug Hood, Williamson County Parks & Recreation; Ermon Lature, Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County; Ella Sauter, Individual Member, and Sandee Tishler, Vanderbilt Medical Group.

The Chamber and its Board of Directors welcome the new members, and wish to express appreciation for services rendered and the contributions made by the retiring members.
