Mahjong is moving outdoors in Leiper’s Fork this fall with Mahj in the Creek, a limited-ticket event that brings American Mahjong tables directly into the waters of Leiper’s Creek.
The event is a collaboration between Fork of the South, BAMFoods Catering, and Crown Winery and will take place at Crown Winery’s Leiper’s Fork location, known for its “wine in the creek” experience.
Each session begins with time for guests to enjoy Crown Winery wines, food from BAMFoods Catering, and music along the creek. Annie and Braiden of BAMFoods will serve a menu of bites created for the event before players take their seats at Mahjong tables set in the water.
Stef from Fork of the South will host the social American Mahjong games, with friendly competition and prizes throughout each session.
