GREYS Fine Cheeses is preparing to close its location at The Factory at Franklin, with its final day set for Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Jackie and Kurt Mullican founded GREYS in Memphis in 2019, initially offering cheeseboards online before expanding into workshops, pop-ups, and cheese-focused dinners. The first GREYS Fine Cheeses storefront opened in Memphis in 2021, followed by Nashville in 2022 and Franklin in 2023.
In a recent social media post announcing the move, Jackie and Kurt said rising product and operating costs have made running a small cheese shop increasingly challenging.
Ahead of the closing, GREYS also announced a moving sale at its Factory at Franklin shop, with 20% off all retail items and 30% off dine-in bottles of wine.
At The Factory, GREYS became a familiar stop for cheese, wine, tastings, workshops, and other experiences that gave the shop a presence beyond its retail counter. While GREYS searches for its next location, customers can continue to visit GREYS’ Nashville shop at 4101 Charlotte Ave in Nashville, where the Franklin staff will work in the meantime. The Nashville and Memphis stores will remain open as usual.
