A. Marshall Hospitality has announced that Claire Crowell will become the company’s chief executive officer as her father, Andy Marshall, prepares to serve as Williamson County mayor.
Crowell, who was named president of A. Marshall Hospitality in 2024, has spent much of her life in the family restaurant business. She began working at Puckett’s at a young age and later held leadership roles within the company before founding Hattie Jane’s Creamery.
Her move to CEO continues a career closely tied to the family business while also reflecting her experience building a hospitality brand of her own.
“As my dad steps away from his day-to-day role at A. Marshall Hospitality to serve as Mayor of Williamson County, I’m honored to take on the role of CEO for our family of restaurants. This is an incredible opportunity to build on the legacy my father has established and lead the company forward as we continue on our mission to provide exceptional food and hospitality,” Crowell said.
Andy Marshall purchased Puckett’s Grocery in 1998 and grew the business into A. Marshall Hospitality, which now includes 10 family-owned-and-operated restaurants across Tennessee and Alabama. The company’s restaurant concepts include Puckett’s Restaurant, Deacon’s New South and Scout’s Pub.
Crowell will succeed her father as CEO on September 1, 2026.
