Byron Hill is from Winston-Salem, NC. He moved to Nashville and signed his first publishing deal in 1978. Byron’s songs have generated more than 700 recordings, and have been released on ninety-one industry certified Gold and Platinum albums and singles. His songs have earned ten ASCAP awards, thirty-four U.S. and Canadian top-ten chart hits, and have become hits in many other worldwide markets. His recorded catalog spans four decades and includes songs recorded by Ray Charles, Alabama, George Strait, Connie Britton & Charles Esten (from the Nashvilleseries on CMT), Jason Aldean, Mark Chesnutt, Kenny Rogers, Don Williams, John Michael Montgomery, Anne Murray, Juice Newton, Joe Nichols, Randy Travis, Keith Whitley, Gary Allan, Rhonda Vincent, Johnny Lee, Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, Sammy Kershaw, Conway Twitty, The Oak Ridge Boys, Mo Pitney, and many others. ROXIE DEAN, is a Baton Rouge, LA, native with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Louisiana State University. She landed her first publishing deal in 1997 thus beginning her professional career as a songwriter. Since then, her songs have been recorded by Reba McEntire, Lee Ann Womack, Faith Hill, Jamie O’Neal, Sara Evans, Trace Adkins, Tracy Lawrence, Chely Wright, Lorrie Morgan, and countless others. She has written chart-topping singles such as Lee Ann Womack’s “Why They Call It Falling,” Reba McEntire’s “My Sister,” Tracy Lawrence’s “Lonely,” as well as Jamie O’Neal’s “When I Think About Angels” which was Roxie’s first #1 single, and was nominated for a Grammy. In 2001, Roxie signed with DreamWorks Records but due to a company merger, the project was never released. Roxie then focused her energy on an independent project recording and releasing Ms. America on Valhalla Records. The album includes “A Soldier’s Wife” honoring the unsung heroes of the war.
