From Lincoln, Nebraska, Daniel did his graduate work at the UMKC Conservatory in Piano Performance and his undergraduate studies at Hastings College, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy.

During his undergraduate years, Philip discovered a passion for creating his own music. He was heavily inspired by contemporary minimalism and film-score music that blends organic sounds with electronic elements. Daniel seeks to appeal to a broad audience as well as the seasoned listener and create his own unique sound.

Philip has released 7 full-length albums as well as many EP’s and singles. He continues to compose/record solo artistic projects yet is venturing into the film scoring and music licensing world. His music has been listened to over 30 million times and has been featured in countless films worldwide. Philip spends his time composing custom scores for docs/short films/commercials and has ventured into the world of dance, collaborating with choreographers and dancers on custom scores.

His sole purpose as a composer is to create music thats primary goal is to convey unequivocal emotion and to make people truly “feel”. Philip believes that music has a unique ability to cause change in the world by this personal connection to individual listeners and aims to be a small part in positively impacting his community thru his music.

Philip currently resides in Lincoln, Nebraska with his wife and dog working in his home studio.
