Guided play is intended for players who are new to mahjong but have already had an introductory lesson such as our Mahjong 101 or are comfortable playing a friendly game. There is no formal instruction at this event. This is simply a gathering of casual, beginner-friendly games at tables of four players.

Come solo or with a friend and we will facilitate tables! Coaches from Charleston Social will be present to answer questions and provide help as requested. Mahjong table setups provided.

Players bring their own 2026 NMJL card or may purchase one onsite for $15.
