Bravo invites audiences on a fantasy ride into the land of pure imagination!

Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka follows enigmatic candy manufacturer, Willy Wonka, as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats: the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather.

The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory… or suffer the consequences!

Roald Dahl’s timeless story of the world famous candy man and his quest to find an heir, features the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder and new songs by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newly. Show is rated G, and great entertainment for the entire family!

About Bravo Creative Arts Center

Bravo Creative Arts Center, located in the Grassland area of Franklin, is a performing arts education organization dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities for K – 12 youth to participate in the performing arts and to bring high quality children’s theatre to the community.

Each season, Bravo produces family-oriented theatre for the mid-state area by offering fully staged musical productions.

Since Bravo’s 2006 founding, over 4,000 area children and teens have been cast in Bravo’s musical theatre productions. A typical Bravo cast includes youth from at least 30 different schools in the Mid State area.
