Andy Marshall is set to become the next mayor of Williamson County after the Republican nominee defeated independent candidate B K Muvvala in the August 6, 2026, county general election.

Marshall will succeed longtime Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson.

A Tennessee native and College Grove resident, Marshall is the founder and CEO of A. Marshall Hospitality. According to his campaign, he grew up in the grocery business and purchased his first grocery store in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, at age 26. He eventually owned four stores before moving into the restaurant and hospitality industry.

Marshall purchased Puckett’s Grocery in 1998 and went on to build A. Marshall Hospitality, which now operates restaurants in Tennessee and Alabama, including Puckett’s Restaurant, Scout’s Pub, and Deacon’s New South.

His community involvement has included serving on boards and organizations throughout Williamson County and Middle Tennessee. His campaign lists current or previous involvement with the Williamson County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Williamson County Fair, Heritage Foundation of Williamson County and Downtown Franklin Association, among others.

Marshall entered the August election after winning the Republican primary for county mayor in May.

The election also brings a leadership change to Marshall’s family business. A. Marshall Hospitality has announced that his daughter, Claire Crowell, will become CEO effective September 1 as Marshall steps away from the company’s day-to-day leadership to serve as Williamson County mayor.
