Two Nashville Symphony Concerts Rescheduled

New Dates for Gregory Porter and Bernadette Peters 

The Nashville Symphony has rescheduled the following performances. Original tickets for both concerts will be honored on the new dates. Please update all calendar and event listings with these changes.

Bernadette Peters with the Nashville Symphony

RESCHEDULED DATE: 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021

The Tony Award-winning star of stage and screen makes her first Nashville appearance in more than five years. Joined by your Nashville Symphony, this dynamic artist will sing from her extensive songbook of Broadway hits – including gems from Rodgers and Hammerstein, Sondheim and more – during a magical performance tailor-made for the intimate acoustics of Schermerhorn Symphony Center. This concert will open with the Nashville Symphony performing a selection of beloved Broadway overtures and more. Learn more here.

 

The GRAMMY® Award-winning Nashville Symphony has earned an international reputation for its innovative programming and its commitment to performing, recording and commissioning works by America’s leading composers. The Nashville Symphony has released more than 30 recordings on Naxos, which have received 24 GRAMMY® nominations and 13 GRAMMY® Awards, making it one of the most active recording orchestras in the country. The orchestra has also released recordings on Decca, Deutsche Grammophon and New West Records, among other labels. With more than 140 performances annually, the orchestra offers a broad range of classical, pops and jazz, and children’s concerts, while its extensive education and community engagement programs reached 45,000 children and adults during the 2018/19 season.
