“To be competitive in the world in which we live, we encourage students to pursue careers in the Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) profession,” explains George Thomas, Founder and President of the EEOG. “Right now, not enough of our youth have access to quality STEM learning opportunities and too few students see these disciplines as springboards for their careers. That’s why we host this summer program, to help them get ahead.”
The EEOG’s annual summer program provides a structured program to teenagers who would otherwise have no access to leadership and personal development enrichment activities during the summer. For the past two years the Summer Enrichment program has given 30 high school students the opportunity to grow and learn through networking, training and leadership programs.
