The Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Fairview Complex rolls out the red carpet for families and kids with three fun and entertaining events in February!
First, the “Superbowl Party” kicks off at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 3rd for kids ages 12-14. View the big game on a large-screen TV, “tailgate” in the Rec. Center with chili and lots of munchies and enjoy the most exciting game of the year with your friends until 10:00 p.m. Cost is $6.00 per person. Registration and payment is required no later than Wednesday, January 30th to ensure enough food is ordered.
Next, entertainer Ken Karter and his “Funny Dummy Show” present another great family night on Friday, February 8th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A ventriloquist and seasoned performer, Ken and his hilarious dummies provide hearty laughs, silly jokes and tons of animated fun for the kids. Cost for the family night is $6.00 per person (children ages 2 and younger are free) and includes 2 slices of Pizza Hut pizza, a beverage and dessert! Registration and payment is required no later than Wednesday, February 6th to ensure enough food is ordered.
Finally, kids ages 6-12 can enjoy their very own “Movie Night” on Friday, February 22nd from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hang out with your friends and watch the latest block buster while munching on popcorn and candy. Be sure to bring a pillow and blanket for maximum comfort! Cost is $5.00 per person. Registration and payment is required no later than Wednesday, February 20th to reserve your spot.
