Breakfast with Santa

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Franklin Complex hosts a day of double fun and holiday cheer on Saturday, Dec. 8. Two annual events, “Breakfast with Santa” and the “Kid’s Garage Sale” return on the same day for another year of Christmas wishes and shopping!

 

First, the annual “Breakfast with Santa” event for children ages 10 and younger invites area families to Santa’s delicious breakfast at the Franklin Recreation Complex on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 8 a.m. There will be lots of photos on Santa’s lap and a listening ear for that lengthy Christmas list!  The breakfast is just $5 per child, with no charge for attending parents. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity for you and your child to spend time together with Santa Clause. Contact the Franklin Recreation Complex at 790-5719, ext. 10 to register, or visit the Complex at 1120 Hillsboro Road in Franklin. Advanced registration is required.

Then, the "8th Annual Kid’s Garage Sale” is a great idea for families in need of a clutter-free start to 2008! The Complex’s gymnasium will be filled with booths of entrepreneurial youths ages 8-12 selling kid-friendly, gently used toys, books, clothes and accessories the same day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Admission is free! 

 

Even the booth costs are child-sized—just $10 each. (includes table and 2 chairs). Only 60 booths are available, so reserve your spot early! Kids, don’t miss a chance to launch your business enterprise in a kid friendly environment! (Parents can help, but the kids are the “bosses”!)
