Independence High to Host Tennis Clinics
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department is offering 2 summer tennis clinic sessions for players ages 8 and older at Independence High School during the months of June and July. Both clinic sessions are conducted by USPTA certified professional, Olivia Ellis who is a current member of the David Lipscomb University Tennis Team.
The first clinic session instructs beginner/advanced beginner-level players on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning June 4 through 27 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and intermediate to advanced level players from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The second clinic session is also offered on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning July 9 through August 1. The beginner’s clinic is again held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with intermediate to advanced students from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Cost for beginners is $112 per person/session with intermediate to advanced students at $144 per person/session.
A 4-player minimum, per class is required for each clinic. Full payment is required at registration in order to secure placement. Register by contacting the Indoor Sports Complex front desk at 370-3471, ext. 10.
