Seasoned banking veteran strengthens Franklin’s Commercial Banking team

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (Aug. 5, 2026) – FirstBank is thrilled to announce that Dayton O’Brien has joined its Franklin team as Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager. As part of the local Commercial Banking team, O’Brien will be responsible for strengthening new and existing client relationships.

Bringing 17 years of experience, O’Brien comes to FirstBank from First Horizon Bank, where he held numerous roles in the consumer/investment banking space for both First Horizon Advisors and First Private Client Services. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis.

Originally from Memphis, O’Brien moved to Franklin 10 years ago. In addition to his role at FirstBank, he is an avid sports fan and currently coaches for Tennessee Soccer Club. Outside of the office, one can find O’Brien spending time with his wife, their two children, friends and family, or somewhere on a soccer field.
