The health-focused dog grooming center opens fifth Midstate location in Cool Springs; developing a sixth in Mt. Juliet
FRANKLIN, TN – July 30 – Scenthound, the dog grooming center that takes a wellness-based approach to its services, has opened in Cool Springs, the fifth location for the booming franchise and owner Jacob Lee in Middle Tennessee. In addition to the latest opening, Lee has also acquired the Mt. Juliet location.
“Since opening our first Middle Tennessee location in 2024, we have continued momentum and seen outstanding support from the communities where we have opened locations,” said Lee. “Cool Springs marks our fifth location in the Midstate, and we’re very excited to move into Mt. Juliet. As we continue to expand, we look forward to serving more Tennesseans and their pets. We’re well on our way to becoming the preeminent dog grooming destination in the region.”
In June 2024, Lee opened the first Middle Tennessee Scenthound in Franklin, and that facility now has more than 750 monthly members. Over the past year, Lee has opened locations in East Nashville, Melrose, Brentwood, and now Cool Springs. Combined, Lee’s Middle Tennessee Scenthound locations have 3,042 monthly members. In addition to the Tennessee locations, Lee also operates four locations in Alabama, with sites in Huntsville, Madison, and Vestavia Hills under development.
Scenthound is unique in its approach to pet care, focusing on the five core areas of maintenance that all dogs need: Skin, Coat, Ears, Nails, and Teeth. Memberships start at $39 per month and include the Basic Hygiene package: a bath with towel-dry, ear cleaning, nail trim, teeth brushing, and a six-point wellness check. Other services, such as shedding treatments, problem-skin treatments, or full haircuts, can be added a la carte. Appointments can be made easily on Scenthound’s mobile app.
