Boots of Honor Memorial Coming to Franklin, TN in May
A powerful tribute honoring fallen U.S. service members is coming to Franklin, TN, this month as the Boots of Honor Memorial arrives at Bicentennial Park from May 16–20, 2026.
Presented by Memories of Honor, the memorial will feature 7,470 combat boots placed in tribute to heroes who gave their lives in service to the United States since 9/11. Organizers describe the installation as a moving visual tribute designed to honor the sacrifice and legacy of America’s fallen heroes.
The memorial will be open daily from sunup to sundown and is free to attend.
A special Community Day of Remembrance will take place on May 17th from 12 pm to 3 pm, featuring food trucks, veteran resources, and a live performance by country singer and U.S. Navy veteran Brooks Herring.
Future memorial displays will expand to recognize military losses prior to 9/11 and those outside of killed-in-action designations. The event is presented in partnership with America250 ahead of Memorial Day 2026.
