Following the winter storm, many residents across Franklin, Williamson County, Nashville, and Davidson County remain without power or safe heating. Local and county agencies have announced warming locations to support residents affected by the ongoing cold weather.

Warming Shelters in Franklin and Williamson County, TN

Williamson County Emergency Management has announced that warming shelters are available at the following locations for residents who do not have a safe, warm place to stay

  • Franklin High School810 Hillsboro Rd., Franklin, TN 37064

Pets: Cats and dogs only. Animals must be leashed or crated.

What to bring: Snacks and drinks, if available.

Nashville and Davidson County, TN Warming Locations

For residents in Nashville, additional warming locations are available in Davidson County. Pets are allowed at these warming locations. 

Nashville Fire Stations

Metro officials have announced that all Nashville Fire Stations across Davidson County are available as safe warming spots and are expected to be open 24/7 until further notice.

Metro Nashville Police Precinct Community Rooms

The following precinct community rooms are open to the public for warming without overnight accommodations (no beds or bedding provided):
