Sports Bar Franchise Dog Haus Biergarten to Open in Franklin
Dog Haus Biergarten, a national sports bar franchise known for gourmet hot dogs, burgers, and craft beer, is planning a new location in Franklin at Canteen on Carothers.
The Franklin restaurant will occupy approximately 2,500 square feet and include a 700-square-foot indoor-outdoor patio with a garage-style door. Planned features include fire pits, cornhole, shuffleboard, and multiple TVs for sports viewing. The space will also feature a Franklin-inspired mural, adding a local touch to the brand’s design.
Dog Haus recently announced another Middle Tennessee expansion, with an East Nashville location expected to open this fall.
What to Expect on the Menu
The menu focuses on elevated comfort food, including burgers, hot dogs, wings, and Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, along with a selection of beer and cocktails.
Dog Haus is nationally recognized for its all-beef Haus Dogs, proprietary sausages, and Black Angus beef from Creekstone Farms, which is humanely raised and free from added hormones and antibiotics. Hot dogs, sausages, and burgers are served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls, and guests can choose from signature menu items or customize their own.
The Story Behind Dog Haus
Founded in Pasadena, California, in 2010, Dog Haus was created by partners Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz, and André Vener, who set out to reimagine classic comfort food in a casual, social setting. The brand describes its concept as “craft casual,” designed for guests who want quality food and a relaxed dining experience.
An opening date for the Franklin location has not yet been announced.
