Tennessee Recycling Coalition to Host Women’s Environmental Leadership Summit October 1-2 in Franklin

NASHVILLE, TENN. (Sept. 5, 2025) – The Tennessee Recycling Coalition is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Women’s Environmental Leadership Summit Oct. 1-2, 2025, at the Hilton Cool Springs Hotel in Franklin. All women in the recycling industry, sustainability programs, health and environmental protection sector, or who are interested in becoming a leader in community recycling, are encouraged to attend.
“This environmental leadership summit is for all women who are involved in the recycling sector, whether at the state, regional, community or local level,” Executive Director Amber Greene, Tennessee Recycling Coalition, said. “It’s exciting to see the continued growth of female leadership in our industry.”
The mission of the summit is to discuss the most critical issues surrounding recycling in Tennessee, to be inspired by guest speakers who are subject matter experts, and to work together to form solutions within the environmental industry.. On Oct. 1, all registrants will have the opportunity to tour the City of Franklin’s Recycling and Solid Waste Facility.
“This is a time to support, inspire and connect with like-minded professionals, Greene continued. “We are much more effective when we work together to make a difference.”
