Fair Debuts “Fairest of the Fair” Pageant
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Fair is returning for its fourth year at the Nashville Fairgrounds from Sept. 5-14, bringing 10 days of family-friendly fun, interactive agriculture exhibits, thrilling rides, live music, cultural performances and competitions. Registrationdeadlines for these competitions are quickly approaching, with some as early as Aug. 24.

Fine Arts: Photography, Handcrafted Arts, Floral, Miniature Habitats, Table Setting and more
Fiber Arts: Sewing, Quilting, Crocheting, Needlepoint
Culinary: Baking and Canning
Fruits and Vegetables: Giant Pumpkins and Watermelons, Garden Produce
Agriculture and Livestock: Beef Cattle, Dairy Cattle, Poultry, Swine, Goats, Rabbits, Sheep
Special Competitions: Tennessee Ham Show, “Fairest of the Fair” Pageant, Cosplay Competition, Hot Chicken Eating Competition, Ice Cream Eating Competition, Celebrity Cow Milking Competition
For the first time, the Nashville Fair will host the inaugural “Fairest of the Fair” pageant on Saturday, Sept. 6. Open to girls and womenages 0-20, the competition features multiple age divisions and includes Miss Photogenic awards in each age group. The winner from the 16-20 age group will earn the “Fairest of the Fair” title, representing the fair throughout the coming year and advancing to the statewide Tennessee Fairest of the Fair pageant.
