FRANKLIN, Tenn. — The historic Lotz House, located in downtown Franklin, is pleased to announce it has been recognized in Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards for 2025 for the 15th consecutive year ranking among the top 10 percent of things to do around the world. Tripadvisor ranks Lotz House as the #1 attraction in Franklin, Tennessee.

The Lotz House has been on the National Historic Register since 1976 and is located in the heart of downtown historic Franklin at ground zero of the pivotal Civil War battle, the Battle of Franklin.

The house is open Monday – Saturday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. The Lotz House is located at 1111 Columbia Avenue and offers specialty tours including Battlefield Walking Tours, Ghost Tours, Cellar Tours and Sundays with Chuck.
