Join us for a discussion with Alora Young, author of Walking Gentry Home, a memoir in verse. Young is a poet, a songwriter, a playwright, and a Presidential Scholar. Young has created works for the United Nations and has performed at the Kennedy Center. Her poetry has appeared in The New York Times and The Washington Post, and she has performed her poetry on CNN, CBS, and the TEDx stage.
