Silent Sky to Open at Pull-Tight Theatre

Silent Sky, by popular playwright Lauren Gunderson and directed by Jeanne Drone, opens at Pull-Tight Players Theatre on March 28, 2025, for a three-week run.

The true story of a 19th-century astronomer, Henrietta Leavitt, explores a woman’s place in society during a time of immense scientific and heart-bound discoveries.  With math, science, and music, Henrietta and her female peers change the way we understand both the heavens and the Earth.

The experienced and talented cast is made up of five newcomers to the Pull-Tight stage. Recent Belmont University graduate Kelby Horne plays the role of Henrietta. Rounding out the cast of five are Kali Chapas, Tammy Sutherland, Elyse Dawson, and Josiah Kareck.

As Pull-Tight has become known for creative uses of the intimate space, Set Designer Tim Massey noted, “This set has been a challenge, to say the least. Building an observatory in our limited space caused us to reach deep into our creative minds. I believe the set will delight our audiences.”

The show dates are March 28th through 30th  April 2nd through 6th and April 9ththrough 12th. Tickets can be purchased at www.pull-tight.com. Free parking is available in the Second Avenue Parking Garage adjacent to the theatre.

This show is suitable for all audiences.
