Pick-Your-Own Tulips Farm Experience

March 15 – April 13, 2025

Spring at Lucky Ladd Farms bursts to life with over one million tulips in more than 100 varieties, making it the largest pick-your-own tulip farm in the Southeastern United States. Visitors can stroll through the colorful fields, pick fresh tulips by the stem, and soak in the beauty of the season. With picture-perfect backdrops at every turn, the farm is a dream for photographers and flower lovers alike. Since Tennessee’s tulip season can be short, sometimes ending weeks earlier than expected due to warm weather, it’s best to plan your visit early to catch the bloom at its peak. Admission includes access to the tulip fields, with tulips sold separately.

Tennessee Tulip Festival

April 5 – 6, 2025

The Tennessee Tulip Festival at Lucky Ladd Farms is a must-visit spring celebration, bringing together vibrant blooms, live music, artisan vendors, and family-friendly fun. With over one million tulips in peak bloom, visitors can stroll through the fields, gather tulips, and capture stunning photos. Nearly 50 arts and crafts vendors will be on-site, including a special Kid’s Market, offering unique handmade goods. Guests can also savor Dutch-themed treats and enter the tulip photo contest for a chance to win prizes. As a Pups in the Park event, leashed dogs are welcome to join in on the fun. 

Tulip Bulb Dig Days

April 17-19, 2025

As the tulip season comes to an end, guests have a unique opportunity to take a piece of the farm home during Tulip Bulb Dig Days. Visitors can dig up tulip bulbs to replant in their own gardens, bringing the beauty of Lucky Ladd Farms back home for another season of blooms. Guests should bring their own containers, and gardening gloves are recommended.

Lucky Ladd Farms Easter Events

Egg Hunt and Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

April 12, 13, 18, 19, 2025 

Celebrate Easter at Lucky Ladd Farms with a family-friendly egg hunt where guests can search at their own pace and trade eggs for a special prize pack. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos, plus families can enjoy the petting zoo, Fun Park, and baby farm animals.

Start the day early with Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, featuring a buffet breakfast, table visits from the Easter Bunny, a souvenir gift for each child, and early access to farm attractions and egg hunts. Breakfast seating is limited; reservations are required. Bring a basket and your camera—springtime fun awaits!

Pick-Your-Own Strawberries

ESTIMATED Picking Dates: April 17 – June 1, 2025

Strawberry season is one of the sweetest times of the year, and Lucky Ladd Farms offers a one-of-a-kind way to experience it! Guests can hand-pick fresh, juicy strawberries while exploring a cutting-edge hydroponic growing system, the only one of its kind in Tennessee that is open to the public.

Strawberry picking dates are estimated and cannot be guaranteed, as availability depends on weather and other factors. The farm posts weekly updates on Facebook and Instagram, so visitors can follow #tnstrawberrystatus to check conditions before heading out. Strawberries are sold separately and are not included with admission.

Strawberry Jam Festival

May 3 – 4, 2025 

The Strawberry Jam Festival at Lucky Ladd Farms celebrates Tennessee’s sweetest season with fresh berries, live entertainment, family-friendly attractions, local artisan vendors, and delicious strawberry-themed treats. Enjoy an arts and crafts fair featuring handmade goods, live music, a strawberry pie-eating contest, and a homemade jam competition. Pre-picked strawberries are available for pre-order online, and limited quantities will be sold at the event. Leashed dogs are welcome during this Pups in the Park event, making it fun for every member of the family!

Splash Days

Splash Days at Lucky Ladd Farms are the ultimate way to beat the summer heat with water-filled fun for the whole family! Kids can run through the splash pad, dive into a sea of bubbles in the Bubble Blast, and zoom down inflatable water slides for a day packed with excitement.

Be sure to bring the essentials—swimwear, swim diapers for little ones, and plenty of towels. A convenient changing station is available to make getting in and out of water gear easy. Whether it’s splashing, sliding, or soaking up the sun, it’s the perfect way to cool off and enjoy summer fun at the farm!

Tennessee Butterfly Experience

June 19 – July 27, 2025

Lucky Ladd Farms’ Butterfly Experience invites visitors into a magical world filled with hundreds of butterflies! Step inside the butterfly house to observe, interact, and even feed these beautiful creatures. Daily butterfly releases let guests set butterflies free into the farm’s flower fields. Butterflies for release are available by pre-order online, with limited on-site availability. Admission includes butterfly house entry, with experts ready to answer questions about the butterfly life cycle.

Sunflower & Zinnias You-Pick Season

ESTIMATED June 19 – July 20, 2025

Lucky Ladd Farms has planted nearly 4 acres of beautiful sunflowers and zinnias, inviting visitors to pick their own flowers, snap memorable sunflower selfies, and create their own sunflower bouquet. Wander through the stunning blooms, capturing perfect photos along the way. Since sunflower season typically lasts just 2-3 weeks, plan your visit early to experience this summer highlight at its peak. Field access is included with admission; flowers may be picked for an additional cost.

Tennessee Sunflower Festival

July 5 -6, 2025

Celebrate sunflower season at Lucky Ladd Farms’ Tennessee Sunflower Festival. Enjoy vibrant blooms, pick-your-own sunflowers, live music, a Maker’s Market Craft Fair, Kid’s Market, and delicious festival treats. Enter the Sunflower Photo Contest or simply snap your own memorable pictures. Leashed dogs are welcome during this Pups in the Park event. Admission also includes the Fun Park playgrounds, petting zoo, nature trails, Butterfly Festival Interactive Observatory, and kid-friendly Splash Days water activities.

Community Appreciation Day

August 3, 2025

Lucky Ladd Farms is saying a big thank you to the Tennessee community with free admission for residents who donate to their local food bank. Just bring a qualifying non-perishable food item—eligible donation items include jars of peanut butter, canned soup, canned stew, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned beans, canned fish, canned chicken, pasta, rice, or a 12-count pack of Ramen Noodles. All canned goods should be at least 14 ounces, and all items must be within their expiration dates, with at least a 14-day shelf life remaining. This special day is an opportunity to have fun at the farm while helping neighbors in need.

Job Fairs for Seasonal Employment

August 23, 24, and 31, 2025

Every August, Lucky Ladd Farms hosts job fairs to hire seasonal team members for the fall and Christmas seasons. No experience is necessary for most roles—just a friendly attitude and willingness to learn! Positions include admissions, retail, food service, attractions, animal encounters, pony handlers, custodial services, farm hands, tractor drivers, and tour guides. Candidates (ages 14+) should be service-oriented, comfortable working indoors and outdoors, and available at least 8 hours per week. Perks include complimentary visits, food and merchandise discounts, seasonal produce, meal benefits, referral rewards, and staff appreciation events. Applications can be submitted here.

Kids Fun Construction Festival

August 30, 2025

Grab your hard hats and get ready to dig into some big-time fun at Lucky Ladd Farms! At this kid-friendly construction zone, little builders have a chance to operate real mini-excavators—digging, moving, and dumping dirt just like the pros. Kids can also climb aboard real-life heavy machinery and tractors! Hands-on activity stations offer even more fun, with chances to practice essential trade skills like hammering, power driving, and tackling plumbing challenges. It’s the perfect day of construction-themed excitement for young builders!

Season Pass “Members-Only” Night

September 19, 2025

If you’ve got a Lucky Ladd Farms Season Pass, this special night is just for you! The farm opens exclusively for pass holders, offering after-hours access to your favorite farm attractions. Enjoy the petting zoo, Fun Park, and special activities and treats without the daytime crowds. This members-only evening is the perfect opportunity to experience the farm at a relaxed pace. Reservations are required by September 17, 2025.

Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze

September 20 – October 31, 2025

Lucky Ladd Farms invites visitors to its award-winning Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze. Choose from thousands of pumpkins in various shapes and colors, perfect for fall decorating and celebrations. Explore Tennessee’s top-ranked corn maze—with a new design each year (the 2025 maze will be revealed in August). Families can also enjoy playgrounds, a petting zoo, nature trails, and seasonal treats like caramel apples, kettle corn, pumpkin-spiced desserts, and hot cider.

The annual Fall Family Fun Festival at Lucky Ladd Farms celebrates the start of Tennessee’s beautiful autumn season with a weekend full of family-friendly excitement. Highlights include a local arts and crafts show, live performances from up-and-coming musical artists, delicious seasonal foods, pumpkin picking, and an adventurous corn maze. Enjoy activities and entertainment set against the charming backdrop of fall on the farm. The festival is dog-friendly, so bring your leashed pups along to enjoy the day! 

Scout Day – Fall Outing

October 5, 2025

Lucky Ladd Farms welcomes area Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and their families for a special Scout Day at the Farm. This annual fall event is the perfect opportunity for scouts to enjoy an outing filled with seasonal fun, including visits to the pumpkin patch and exploring the farm’s award-winning corn maze. 

As part of Scout Day on the Farm, guests are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items. All donations will be delivered to a local Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee partner to help fight hunger in the community. Reservations are required and must be made by October 2, 2025. Tickets will not be available at the gate. Scout leaders should include all attending guests when making reservations.

Holly Jolly Festival of Lights

November 28 – December 23, 2025

Celebrate the holidays at Lucky Ladd Farms’ Holly Jolly Festival of Lights! Stroll along a nearly mile-long trail of twinkling lights and festive displays, visit the live nativity featuring farm animals, and warm up by cozy campfires with s’mores, fresh-baked cookies, and hot cocoa. Enjoy special meet-and-greets with holiday characters, including the Mean Green One, Lovable Snowman, Rudy Reindeer, Santa’s mischievous Elf, and even Pup Pics with Santa for furry friends. Kids can also ride ponies, have faces painted, write letters to Santa, and pose inside a life-sized snow globe. Advance tickets are required and some activities have additional fees. A detailed holiday character schedule will be released in October.
