Amy Head Cosmetics Is Now Open in Germantown
Amy Head Cosmetics, the family-owned beauty brand that helps clients find beauty with ease, is thrilled to announce their Germantown location is now open. With 2024 marking the brand’s 35th anniversary, the team is pleased to open their newest brick-and-mortar shop in Nashville, providing the community with intentionally tailored techniques, education, and products created to enhance and empower natural beauty. The shop is open for walk-ins and appointments Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Amy Head Cosmetics was built on the simple idea of love: love for others and the power of self-love. The dedicated team has mastered a way of teaching and conveying this concept using Founder Amy Head’s techniques and makeup formulations that she’s developed over decades as a beauty trailblazer and entrepreneur, always keeping the everyday woman in mind. In partnership with her husband and business partner Harold Head, and their daughter, MacKenzie Walker, the brand has curated a welcoming space to experience personalized makeup consultations, event makeup sessions, and shop products. During one-on-one sessions, the team at Amy Head Cosmetics designs a makeup routine based on each client’s lifestyle that is natural, easy, and fitting for any occasion. All Amy Head products – foundation, blush, lip products, and more – are made in the U.S. and are formulated to look natural and be functional for everyday wear. Products are non-comedogenic, phthalate-free, cruelty free, gluten-free, paraben-free, lead-free, and most are talc-free and vegan.
What to Expect
Conveniently located off 4th Avenue North, the shop is full of natural light and neutral decor, with an organic feel. The relaxing environment welcomes guests with fragrances from the brand’s custom candle line, while an extensive lineup of hand-picked products – including the Amy Head Cosmetics makeup line, organic skincare, bath products, plus accessories such as jewelry and fragrances – are on display for guests to enjoy. Makeup stations are thoughtfully designed for educational sessions and expert technique demonstrations, while being professionally lit and paired with cozy seating.
Personalized Makeup Sessions (1 to 1.5 hours) and Event Makeup Sessions (1 hour) are available to book HERE. There is no service fee, only a three product minimum purchase at the time of the session.
Exclusive to Nashville, the Amy Head Cosmetics team has created a Group Makeup Experience, just for the Germantown location. This offering welcomes groups of two to four for a fun and unique experience that will leave each client feeling glamorous and the best version of themselves – the perfect precursor to dinner with the squad or before a night out on the town. The experience is two hours in total and includes a full face application, complimentary champagne, kombucha by Walker Brothers, additional refreshments, two free Amy Head Cosmetics products, and 15% off all products on the day of the session.
