Legal Aid Society to Hold Open House at Columbia Office Sept. 28

COLUMBIA, Tennessee, Sept. 13, 2023 – Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, Tennessee’s largest nonprofit law firm, announced that it will be holding an open house at its Columbia office from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28.

The office — located at 1503 Hatcher Lane, Suite 105, Columbia, TN 38401 — will be open to all members of the public. Attorneys from Legal Aid Society will be on hand to discuss the work they do to provide free legal assistance to low-income residents of Columbia and the surrounding area.

“Whether you’re a supporter, partner or simply curious about our services, we’d love to tell you more about how Legal Aid Society helps ensure equal access to justice to all members of our community,” said Patricia Jones, lead attorney of the Columbia office. “Please join us in our commitment to a fair and just society.”

During the open house, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held to officially commemorate Legal Aid Society’s recent move to its current location. Legal Aid Society has served the Columbia community for more than 40 years.
