Simmons Bank Open (Sept. 14-17)
In support of the Snedeker Foundation, the Simmons Bank Open will occur from September 11-17th at The Grove in College Grove. Hosted by the Tennessee Golf Foundation, this event features four days of competition among the Korn Ferry Tour’s top 144 players.
Historic Walking Tours (Sept. 15th)
Explore the halls of The Factory at Franklin as a guide from Historic Walking Tours teaches you about the complex’s eventful past! Learn about how a former industrial plant was transformed into The Factory we all know and love. Covering 93 years of history in 45 minutes, join this tour on Friday at 10:30 a.m. to find out more about this local landmark’s past while seeing all of the shops, restaurants, and events that you can enjoy now!
Floral Design Workshop at Morning Glory Orchard (Sept. 15th)
Morning Glory Orchard in Nolensville invites you to participate in a Floral Design Workshop this Friday at 6 p.m. Expert floral designer Rebecca Adams will guide you in creating your own beautiful flower arrangements! Bring along a friend to enjoy the gorgeous views at Morning Glory Orchard while learning about floral care and design with complimentary refreshments and a cider slushie of your choice!
Telescope Night at the Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory (Sept. 15th)
The Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory in Brentwood will be hosting a Live Telescope Night this Friday from 8-10 p.m. for guests to view their exhibits, speak with astronomers, and use telescopes to look for various celestial objects in the late summer sky!
Cycle for Life (Sept. 16th)
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Tennessee Chapter will be hosting their annual Cycle for Life this Saturday at 7 a.m. This cycling event will take participants through the beautiful terrain of Maury and Williamson County, with in-person and virtual options. Cycle for Life supports The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their mission of raising funds and awareness in order to fight Cystic Fibrosis and help those affected by it.
Farmers Markets (Sept. 16th)
These weekly farmers markets offer the perfect opportunity to support local farmers, kitchens, and artisans!
- You can find The Franklin Farmers Market every Saturday from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. behind The Factory at Franklin with numerous vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted items, and local art.
- The Nolensville Farmers Market will be taking place every Saturday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Historic Nolensville School. Local farmers and artisans will offer fresh, seasonal foods and unique crafts!
Drawing Class (Sept. 16th)
Williamson County Parks & Recreation will be hosting a 3-session Drawing with Colored Pencils class at the Nolensville Recreation Complex, with the first session this Saturday at 9 a.m.! This series of beginners classes for ages 13+ will introduce you to basic techniques in group settings and send you off with some beautiful, original works of art!
Nature Poetry Workshop (Sept. 16th)
Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary invites you to participate in their Nature Poetry Workshop this Saturday from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. This workshop will start with discussing poems before writing your own poetry inspired by the nature that surrounds you and sharing with the rest of the group!
Franklin Flea Market (Sept. 16-17)
The Franklin Flea Market is coming back to the Williamson County Ag Expo Park this Saturday and Sunday. Presented by The Big 98, this flea market hosts over 400 vendors and food trucks! The Franklin Flea Market’s grand opening in June was a huge success, so stop by to browse and shop for clothing, antiques, jewelry, handmade pieces, collectibles, and more!
Batty for Bats at Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary (Sept. 16th)
Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary is partnering with The Nature Conservancy to present their Batty for Bats event in Brentwood this Saturday at 10 a.m. You are invited to experience a special bat presentation with Cave Program Director, Cory Holliday and build a bat box that you will be able to take home!
Watercolor Basics Workshop (Sept. 16th)
Williamson County Parks & Recreation will be hosting a class on the basics of painting with watercolor in Franklin this Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.! This beginners’ workshop for ages 16+ will cover all the paint, paper, and brush options, as well as the three main types of color mixing! Make sure to register ahead of time to participate and experiment with different techniques!
S.A.F.E. Benefit Dinner (Sept. 16th)
The Fork & Vine Benefit Dinner benefitting S.A.F.E. will be held at GratiDude Ranch this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. This annual event features a 10-course tasting with curated wines, live entertainment, an auction, a surprise celebrity guest appearance, and more in support of S.A.F.E.’s mission to serve foster youth and families.
Harpeth River Swing (Sept. 16th)
The 20th Annual Harpeth River Swing will take place this Saturday in Franklin at River Circle Farm at 6 p.m. This event has raised over $2,000,000 in funds over the past 20 years to protect local rivers and features live music, dancing, and more.
Hog Ball (Sept. 16th)
The 2nd Annual Hog Ball will be held at Eastern Flank Battlefield Park this Saturday from 6:30-10:30 p.m. This event organized by Franklin locals includes dinner and drinks in support of Friends of Franklin Parks’ Ellie G’s Dreamworld campaign to create a new, inclusive playground.
Fork Fest (Sept. 17th)
The 10th Annual Fork Fest will take place this Sunday at 4 p.m. at Leiper’s Fork’s Lawnchair Theatre. This year’s Fork Fest celebrates Hank Williams’ 100th birthday with Shawn Camp performing the country legend’s greatest hits! Come out for an evening of music in tribute to Hank Williams at this annual event in Leiper’s Fork!

Puppy Songs in Concert (Sept. 16th): Puppy Songs will be stopping by The Franklin Theatre this Saturday at 2 p.m., featuring a performance from Matt Hobbs and a special presentation of the Williamson County Animal Center’s adoptable dogs!
Franklin Light Opera (Sept. 15-17): Franklin Light Opera will be presenting their rendition of H.M.S. Pinafore at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!
