Patricia Hart Society’s Spring Fundraiser

$125 – $375Join us for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction benefiting United Way of Greater Nashville’s work to improve literacy in our community. A portion of proceeds from the silent auction will go to The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee’s Caring for Covenant Fund.
Program begins at 6 p.m., featuring speaker Jennifer Osland Hillen, author and illustrator of Goodnight, Nashville.

About Jennifer Osland Hillen
Jennifer Hillen is a local author, artist and entrepreneur as well as a national nonprofit executive. In addition to running Harper Publishing, LLC, which delivers bestselling book Goodnight, Nashville to readers around the world, Jennifer serves as chief learning officer for the National Business Officers Association, which is dedicated to advancing business excellence in independent pre-K-12 day and boarding schools around the country. She serves on the American Society of Association Executives’ Professional Development Advisory Council and served on the teaching faculty for the Master of Education in Independent School Leadership program at Vanderbilt University’s Department of Leadership, Policy & Organizations at Peabody College.
A certified public accountant, Jennifer worked in assurance and advisory services for international “Big 4” public accounting firm Ernst & Young before joining Harpeth Hall School where she served as a business officer for nearly a decade. Jennifer has served on the boards of directors of several nonprofits, including her current role as treasurer of Renewal House. She recently served as president of the Junior League of Nashville, a 1,600-member organization of women volunteers, the 15th largest in the world. She is honored to be a member of Leadership Nashville and past honoree of the Nashville ATHENA Awards and 30 Under 30. Past board or advisory positions include Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, LEAD Public Schools, Safe Haven Community Shelter and W.O. Smith Music School.
Jennifer graduated in the top seven percent of her class from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in accounting, Spanish and business. She studied abroad at St. John’s College of Oxford University, England. Jennifer wrote and illustrated the bestselling book Goodnight, Nashville and gives a portion of each sale to a local nonprofit.
