TAILOR gives The Nashville Food Project $20K+

Vivek Surti and Heather Southerland of TAILOR presented a donation of $20,625 to The Nashville Food Project. As TAILOR transitions to their new restaurant home in Germantown (set to open in mid 2022), they’ve spent time these past few months hosting series of pop-up dinners at The Nashville Food Project. As a part of this pop-up series, a portion of proceeds went directly back to support the Nashville Food Project’s mission to “bring people together to grow, cook and share nourishing food, with the goals of cultivating community and alleviating hunger in our city.” They recently presented The Nashville Food Project COO Teri Sloan with a check totaling more $20,000 as a result of this partnership. Every week, the Nashville Food Project team provides 5,500 meals a week to underserved communities and helps countless others through partnerships and farm programs, and TAILOR’s donation will directly support these efforts and the organization’s continued dedication to the Nashville community.
