ANIMAL CENTER OFFERS FREE PET FOOD AND DISCOUNTED CAT ADOPTIONS

Pet of the Week: One year old Minnie is curious and playful but loves lap time as well.  She will be happiest as a single cat in her new home and with older children.  Minnie and the other adoptable cats at WCAC have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, tested for feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and FIV, dewormed, given flea control and are up to date on vaccinations and rabies shots.  Minnie and all her adoptable furry friends are waiting for you to visit!

Food Giveaway Keeps Fur Families Together

Friends of Williamson County Animal Center will host “Paw Pantry” on Friday August 17 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. or as supplies last.  The monthly giveaway helps owners who may otherwise be forced to give up their pets due to financial reasons.

Free pet food will be available at the animal center during the event to Williamson County residents.  Proof of residency is required.

Those who would like to add an adult cat to their family can do so with an approved application and $10 through August.  Kittens are available for $50 adoption fee.  Processing fees apply to credit and debit card purchases.

Williamson County Animal Center is located at 106 Claude Yates Drive in Franklin.  Regular center hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  For more information, visit www.adoptwcac.org or call (615) 790-5590.
