42nd Annual Meeting
The Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County will elect officers, report on the year’s priorities and accomplishments, and present preservation awards at its 42nd Annual Meeting on Monday, May 18, 2009 at The Factory’s Jamison Hall. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. with the Annual Meeting starting at 6:00 p.m. Back by popular demand, after the meeting, seven local restaurants are providing “A Taste of Franklin” sampling of their specialties.
Dan and Adam Bishop, co-owners of The Adam Group, have graciously donated printing and postage of the postcard invitation that will be coming to all Heritage Foundation members this month. Shelley Moeller, with Harpeth True Value Home Center in Franklin, will provide her expertise in decorating Jamison Hall for our visual enjoyment and Southern Events will magically drape tables in the hall! Calvin and Marilyn Lehew, owners and developers of The Factory and founding members of the Heritage Foundation, have generously donated the hall so there will be plenty of room to enjoy the evening’s activities.
We are delighted that Randy Houston, Regional President of First Tennessee, will once again serve along with Dan and Adam Bishop and the Lehews as a host. Houston serves as Vice President of Membership and Development on the Heritage Foundation board.
Special thanks to Ajax Turner for their support and to 108 Grille, Boxwood Bistro, Franklin Chop House, Merridee’s, Puckett’s, Red Pony, and Sol for their generous donation of their specialties for tasting! Each brings something special to the table. The Annual Meeting is free and open to all members and prospective members. Advance reservations are requested by May 8 by calling 591-8500 extension 11 or drogers@historicfranklin.com.
