WCPR OFFERS NUMEROUS SPRING ADULT SPORTS OPTIONS 

ADULT SPORTS IN FRANKLIN, TN, BRENTWOOD, AND NOLENSVILLE

Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) provides exciting sports and athletic programs for adults throughout the community. Our Athletics Division focuses on sportsmanship, team play, and fun activities for all participants. Register now for upcoming Spring Pickleball Clinics, Spring Volleyball, Outdoor and Indoor Flag Football, Coed and Women’s Soccer, Kickball and Tennis Leagues or Clinics.

SPRING PICKLEBALL CLINICS

It’s time to register for Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Spring Pickleball Clinics to be held at the Academy Park Gymnasium, located at 120 Everbright Ave., Franklin, TN. These clinics will be for beginner through advanced level players and taught by experienced pickleball instructors.

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It is estimated that two million Americans play the game, and its popularity is growing, especially among seniors.  Two-thirds of all pickleball players are over the age of 60, and it is a popular event with local seniors as well as with participants in the Tennessee Senior Olympics.

SPRING VOLLEYBALL

Registration is open for Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Spring Women’s and Co-ed Volleyball leagues at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road, Franklin, TN. Online registration continues through March 7 or until the leagues are full. 

The women’s season will be March 15 – June 7. Games will be played on Sunday afternoons. Teams should register for activity #16118 (advanced division) or #16117 (recreational division) at www.wcparksandrec.com. The fee is $200 per team. 

The coed season will run March19 – June 4. Games will be played on Thursday evenings. Teams should register for activity #116092 (advanced division) or #16089 (recreational division) at www.wcparksandrec.com. The fee is $200 per team.

OUTDOOR FLAG FOOTBALL (Nolensville)

Registration is open for the Outdoor Adult Flag Football League at the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville. Games will be played at the Nolensville Rec Field (next to the Recreation Complex) on Wednesdays starting in March. The registration fee for each team is $400. Register at www.wcparksandrec.com.

SPRING INDOOR ADULT  FLAG FOOTBALL

Registration for WCPR’s Spring Indoor Adult Flag Football program at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park in Brentwood, TN is open through February 28 or until full. The season will start March 19. Games will be played on Thursday evenings from 6:00 –10:00 p.m.  All registration is on-line at www.wcparksandrec.com. The registration fee for each team is $350. Register for activity #15202.

SPRING CO-ED INDOOR SOCCER (Brentwood and Franklin)

Registration is open for Spring Co-ed Indoor Soccer A-League at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park 1485 Volunteer Pkwy., Brentwood, and the Spring Co-ed Soccer League (Session I) at Robert A. Ring Indoor Soccer Arena, 1878 Downs Blvd., in Franklin.

League play at the Robert A. Ring Indoor Arena in Franklin will be on Wednesday nights, March 4 – April 22. The team registration fee is $400. Registration is open through March 1 or until full. Register for activity #16018 at www.wcparksandrec.com.

League play at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park will be on Wednesday nights, March 11 – May 6. The team registration fee is $465. Registration is open through March 6 or until full. Register for activity #15213  at www.wcparksandrec.com.

WOMEN’S SPRING INDOOR SOCCER

Registration for WCPR’s Spring Women’s Indoor Soccer League at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park, 1485 Volunteer Pkwy., in Brentwood will remain open through Feb. 28 or until the league is full.

A maximum of nine teams will be accepted. The season will be March 17 – May 12 and play on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The team fee is $350. ADULT INDOOR KICKBALL AT CROCKETT PARK ARENA

Grab some friends and come see what it is like to be a kid again playing kickball. Registration for WCPR’s Spring Adult Kickball league at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park, 1485 Volunteer Pkwy. in Brentwood is open through February 28 or until full. 

The season will be March 16 through May 4. Games will be played on Monday evenings from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Teams should register for activity #14839 at www.wcparksandrec.com. The fee is $350 per team for the season. A maximum of 10 teams will be allowed. SPRING TENNIS LEAGUES AND CLINICS

Registration for spring indoor and outdoor tennis leagues is now open.  Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles are offered for men and women.  Choose from daytime or evening indoor leagues at the Indoor Sports Complex, 920 Heritage Way in Brentwood or outdoor leagues at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 HiIlsboro Rd.; Ravenwood High School, 1724 Wilson Pike; or Nolensville High School, 1600 Summerlyn Dr.; or a flex league.  

The leagues will play for eight weeks. League schedules and registration is online at www.wcparksandrec.com.  

Registration for spring tennis clinics will open March 3.  Clinics will start the week of March 30. Indoor clinics will be held at the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, 920 Heritage Way. Outdoor clinics will be offered at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd.; the Longview Recreation Center in Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr.; Granny White Park; Grassland Park; Ravenwood High School and Nolensville High School. 

Adult clinics in beginner through advanced skill levels will be offered Monday(s) through Saturday(s).  Prices vary depending on the duration of clinic.
