Carnton’s new cookbook, View from the Porch: A Collection of Recipes From Friends of Carnton, has arrived and is now available for purchase in our gift shop!
The cookbook is a collection of recipes from Carnton’s friends, members, and staff. Robert Hicks, author of The Widow of the South, penned the foreword.
“It’s appropriate that we who love this place, this hallowed ground called Carnton, would want to continue tradition laid down by Carrie McGavock and Mariah Reddick and our own ancestors, both black and white, and put together this offering of recipes.”
