Williamson County Parks and Recreation invites seniors (ages 55 & older) to enjoy a day trip to the world famous National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Friday, July 25th.
 
The 68,000 square foot National Corvette Museum houses more than 50 classic Corvette cars and one-of-a-kind concept cars spanning the history of Corvette. The largest and most comprehensive nonprofit museum ever dedicated to a single automotive nameplate, the Corvette museum also offers an extensive collection of rare Corvette memorabilia, scale models and a new interactive exhibit called the “pit crew challenge.”
 
Check-in time at the Longview Recreation Center, 2909 Commonwealth Drive in Spring Hill will be 8:30am on July 25th. Guests will  depart at 9:00am and travel via motor coach to Cracker Barrel in Bowling Green for lunch.  The one-hour Corvette Museum tour and a trip to the Corvette gift shop will follow.  The bus will return to Longview by 4:00pm.
 
Registration for this trip opens at 9:00am on June 18th and closes July 18th or when the trip is full. The cost is $30.00 per person. Lunch is dutch treat. Registration for the trip may be made in person or by speaking with the receptionist at (615)302-0971, ext. 10. No messages allowed. To hold a reservation, payment must be received within 5 days of the initial registration. Payments may be mailed or made in person at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill. Refunds are available through the last day of registration.
