The Factory at Franklin Walking Tour (Oct. 6th)

Explore The Factory at Franklin with a Historic Walking Tours guide to learn about its eventful past! Find out how a former industrial plant was transformed into The Factory we all know and love. Join the tour covering 93 years of history in 45 minutes this Friday at 10:30am to discover more about this local landmark’s past while seeing all of the shops, restaurants, and events that you can enjoy now!

 

50th Annual Heritage Ball (Oct. 7th)

The 50th Annual Heritage Ball will take place this Saturday at 6pm in Eastern Flank Battlefield Park, in celebration of the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County’s preservation work. This elegant evening is Williamson County’s longest-running black-tie affair and Heritage Foundation’s largest annual fundraising event! Young professionals are even invited to join in on the fun at 8pm with their Next Gen Late Party

The Arts Council of Williamson County will hold their monthly Downtown Franklin Art Crawl this Friday from 6-9pm! This free event showcases Williamson County’s local artists and allows the community to view and purchase all different types of art. Galleries and studios are dispersed throughout Franklin’s historic downtown, with many offering refreshments and live music! 

Downtown Franklin Art Crawl is an art event that features local artists, live music, guided art tours, galleries, shopping, complimentary refreshments and much more!

 

Southall Farm & Inn’s Apple Weekend with Diane Flynt (Oct. 6-7th)

Southall Farm & Inn will be having an apple-themed weekend with author and cider maker, Diane Flynt, this Friday and Saturday! This festive weekend will include dinner, a tour, activities, a book signing, and more! 

 

Jokers & Jackpots Gala (Oct. 7th)

This year’s Jokers & Jackpots Gala will be celebrating 25 years of Bridges Domestic Violence Center’s commitment to the Williamson County community this Saturday from 6:30- 10:30pm at Embassy Suites in Cool Springs. This evening of philanthropy will include a casino night with a variety of games, delicious food, a silent auction with over 100 items, music, dancing, and more!

 

Farmers Markets (Oct 7th)

These weekly farmers markets provide the perfect opportunity to support local farmers, kitchens, and artisans! 

  • You can find The Franklin Farmers Market every Saturday morning from 8am- 1pm behind The Factory at Franklin with numerous vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted items, and local art.
  • The Nolensville Farmers Market will be taking place every Saturday from 8am-12pm at the Historic Nolensville School. Local farmers and artisans will offer fresh, seasonal foods and unique crafts!

Fall Color Hikes at Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary (Oct. 7th)

Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary is holding their series of Fall Color Hikes every Saturday morning at 9:30am from Oct. 7th – Nov. 11th! Veteran trail guides will lead you through this moderately difficult walk as you observe the progression of the fall season. This guided walk is for ages 15+ and minors must be accompanied by an adult – reserve a spot now!

Philip Yancey will be at Landmark Booksellers from 10am- 12pm to talk about his new book “Undone: A Modern Rendering of John Donne’s Devotions” and sign copies!

The John Maher Builders’ Whole Hog Festival, presented by The Well Outreach, will take place at the Historic Oaklawn Mansion in Spring Hill, Tennessee this Saturday. This annual event is Spring Hill’s largest and longest-running festival, with family-friendly activities and local pork-themed food trucks in support of The Well Outreach Food Pantry! 

 

Nashville Wealth & Wellness Expo (Oct. 7-8th)

The Nashville Wealth & Wellness Expo will take place at the Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance Sports Performance Center in Franklin this Saturday and Sunday. Floor Loom Weaving Demo (Oct. 7th): Experienced weaver and textile stylist Phyllis Narus will show you how to hand-weave towels on a floor loom at Copper Fox Gallery this Friday from 11am- 3pm!

Drawing Portraits Class (Oct. 7th): The Williamson County Recreation Complex in Nolensville will be hosting a 4-session Drawing Portraits Class every Saturday in October, with the first session occurring this Saturday from 11:30am- 1:30pm!

Oil Painting Workshop (Oct. 7-8th): Williamson County Parks & Recreation will host an oil painting workshop this Saturday and Sunday, where students will learn how to create an alien landscape! 

 

Brentwood Beer & Wine Festival (Oct. 7th)

This year’s Brentwood Beer & Wine Festival will take place this Saturday, featuring a variety of beers and wines to sample, food trucks, live music, yard games, special tastings and more! Enjoy this weekend afternoon of fun from 12-4pm!

Monster Mash and Movie Knight (Oct. 7th)

Williamson County Parks & Recreation will be hosting a Monster Mash and Movie Knight at Castle Park this Saturday at 4pm. This free event invites attendees to enjoy the latest Addams Family movie, a variety of food trucks, competitive games, Halloween crafts, and more! Dress up in costumes and stop by for an evening of ghoulish fun under the stars! 

 

Pickin’ in the Park (Oct. 7th)

Pickin’ in the Park is Spring Hill’s monthly outdoor music series, with the last session happening this Saturday at 5:30pm! This free, family-friendly event features live music from local musicians and local food trucks. Pack your chairs and blankets to enjoy Pickin’ in the Park’s last performance of the season with the Spring Hill community!

Farm-To-Table Dinner at GratiDude Ranch (Oct. 7th)

GratiDude Ranch in Franklin will be hosting a Farm-to-Table Dinner with Chef Brayden Apple of River Cottage Farm this Saturday evening from 5:30- 8:30pm. This delicious 5-course meal includes fresh food made from locally sourced ingredients as well as wine pairings, craft drinks, and live music!

 

Music in the Meadow (Oct. 7th)

Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary’s Music in the Meadow will take place this Saturday from 5:30-8:30pm. This evening of music will feature local singer/songwriter Matt Belsante, so bring your own food and supplies for a picnic under the stars in support of Owl’s Hill’s mission to provide a safe space for over 2,000 local species.

Farmstead Roots Creek Dinner Series (Oct. 7th)

The Farmstead Roots Creek Dinner Series at Wines in the Fork is a Leiper’s Fork tradition and the last session of the season will be held this Saturday at 6pm. Leiper’s Fork resident Chef Braiden Mallon will be creating unique multi-course meals for each dinner that pair perfectly with the local wines from Farmstead Cellar and Crown Winery. You are invited to enjoy this evening of delicious food, wine, live music, and more!

Diggery Digger’s Dino Adventure (Oct. 7th): The Diggery Digger’s Dino Adventure is an interactive show where the audience becomes a part of the action! Catch this live, family-friendly performance at The Franklin Theatre this Saturday at 12:30pm!

After Hours at Lolly Bee Bayou (Oct. 7th): Boo Ray + Friends will be playing at Lolly Bee Bayou’s After Hours this Saturday at 5pm in support of the Nashville Wildlife Conservation Center!

Leigh Nash and Jeremy Lister at The Franklin Theatre (Oct. 8th): Leigh Nash and Jeremy Lister will be performing at The Franklin Theatre this Sunday at 8pm!
