Knee High Naturalist

Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary invites children ages 3-5 to explore nature with their Knee High Naturalist series! Led by an Owl’s Hill Environmental Educator, children will learn about a different topic each week with emphasis on teamwork, creativity, and exploration! The Spring sessions will take place every Wednesday from 10am- 11:30am until April 26th, so make sure to register your child soon!

 

Pet Portraits

Williamson County Parks and Recreation will be hosting a pet portraits class on April 12th! Make sure to register for this class a few days ahead of time and send in a photo of your furry friend so that your canvas will be ready to paint once you arrive!

 

An Evening for Education

Crockett Elementary presents their Inaugural Songwriters Night on April 12th, headlined by Grammy-winner and Crockett dad Chris DeStefano as well as other award-winning artists. This event held at The Franklin Theatre will include beverages, concessions, and a silent auction along with the performance!

Garden Talk

The John P. Holt Brentwood Library will be hosting a Garden Talk on April 13th, featuring a presentation on how to keep a bee-friendly garden this Spring season!

 

The Hunt: An Adult Easter Egg Experience

The John P. Holt Brentwood Library will be hosting The Hunt: An Adult Easter Egg Experience on April 14th at 6pm. Featuring photos with the Easter Bunny, yummy food, face painting, and an easter egg hunt, this is the event for anyone 18+ and ready to release their inner child!

 

Jurassic Quest

You are invited to experience Jurassic Quest, the largest and most realistic dinosaur exhibit on tour in North America, at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park on April 14th-16th. With life-size exhibitions, walking dinosaur rides, interactive activities, fossils, and more, this will be an eye-opening and entertaining experience for the whole family!

  • Singer-songwriter Leanna Crawford will be performing at Blackberry Meadows Farm on April 14th!
  • Yancy Riley will be performing at Mockingbird Theater & Bar on April 15th!
  • World-class singer Deborah Allen will be at The Franklin Theatre on April 15th!
  • Pull-Tight Players Theatre will be performing Funny Money on April 14th and 15th!

Farmers Markets

These local farmers markets prove the importance of contributing to your community and provide the perfect opportunity to support your local farmers, kitchens, and artisans! 

  • You can find The Franklin Farmers Market every Saturday morning behind The Factory at Franklin with numerous vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted items, and local art.
  • The Nolensville Winter Farmers Market will be taking place every Saturday from 10am-1pm at the Mill Creek Church of Christ. Local farmers and artisans will offer fresh, seasonal foods and unique crafts!

 

Wildflower Hikes

Celebrate the Spring season with Wildflower Hikes every Saturday in April from 9:30am- 11:30am at Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary! Teens and adults are invited on a hike to admire all of the blooming trees and wildflowers like the Blue-Eyed Mary, Dutchman’s Britches, and Spring Beauty.

 

Cross Stitch & Talk

The John P. Holt Brentwood Library will be hosting a Stitch & Talk on April 15th, featuring cross-stitching, a raffle, conversation, and snacks!

Saturday Morning Art Club

Chestnut Grove Studios invites you to a mixed-media workshop at Oasis Health Center on April 15th with introductions to paint pens, acrylics, and embroidery. This workshop is beginner-friendly, customizable, and will leave you with your own work of art!

 

Puppy Pals

Puppy Pals will be visiting The Franklin Theatre on April 15th. This action-packed show features adopted and rescued dogs performing incredible stunts and tricks! 

 

Skylight Sip & Sample

The Skylight is The Factory at Franklin’s brand new bar and gathering space. Their Sip & Sample event will be the public’s first opportunity to experience its addition and includes samples of drinks and food items on April 15th!
