Super Bowl Nashville 2030: Music City Could Host Super Bowl LXIV
Nashville could soon land one of the biggest sporting events in the world, with Super Bowl Nashville 2030 expected to go before NFL owners for a vote this week.
NFL owners are expected to vote Tuesday, May 19, 2026, on whether to approve Nashville as the host city for Super Bowl LXIV in February 2030, according to reports from NFL Network. If approved, the game would mark the first time the Super Bowl has been played in Nashville.
Super Bowl Nashville 2030 at New Nissan Stadium
The game would be held at the future Nissan Stadium, the new enclosed home of the Tennessee Titans, currently under construction on Nashville’s East Bank. The multi-billion-dollar stadium project began in 2024 and is expected to open in 2027.
Team and city officials have said attracting major national events was one of the goals behind the new stadium. NFL officials have previously expressed interest in Nashville as a Super Bowl city.
Nashville would join an upcoming Super Bowl lineup that includes Los Angeles in 2027, Atlanta in 2028, and Las Vegas in 2029. The timing would give the new Nissan Stadium several years of operation before hosting the NFL’s biggest game.
What Super Bowl LXIV Could Mean for Nashville
Landing the Super Bowl would be a major moment for Music City, with the potential to deliver a significant economic boost through tourism, hotel stays, restaurants, entertainment, transportation, media events, private gatherings, and visitor spending across the region. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce estimated the local economic impact of the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas at $1 billion.
For Nashville, hosting Super Bowl LXIV would further establish the city as a national destination for major sports and entertainment events, while giving the new Nissan Stadium one of its biggest stages just a few years after opening.
