Studio Tenn Theatre Company has released its 2026–27 season lineup, featuring a mix of musicals, plays, and returning favorites. The season runs from October 2026 through May 2027.

The Addams Family
October 8–25, 2026
A musical comedy set in the offbeat Addams household, where Wednesday falls for a “normal” boy and a dinner with his family leads to secrets, culture clashes, and plenty of chaos.
It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play
December 3–20, 2026
A holiday classic presented as a 1940s live radio broadcast, where five actors use vintage microphones and sound effects to bring George Bailey’s story to life on stage.
Steel Magnolias
February 4–21, 2027
Set in a small-town Louisiana beauty salon, this play follows six women as they share life, friendship, and support through both joyful and difficult moments.
Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash
March 18–April 4, 2027
A concert-style musical featuring the songs of Johnny Cash, tracing his life and career through live performances of his most well-known hits.
Something Rotten!
May 6–23, 2027
A musical comedy set in the Renaissance, where two playwright brothers try to outdo Shakespeare by creating what may be the world’s first musical.
Studio Tenn at Turner Theater
Studio Tenn’s mainstage productions are held at the Turner Theater, located inside The Factory at Franklin. The venue is known for hosting professional theater, concerts, and special events in a restored industrial space.
Tickets and Details
- Season 16 ticket holders can renew with early access from April 14th through April 27th.
- Season tickets open to the general public on April 28th.
