Spring Expression Fashion Show

On April 10th, the Spring Expression Fashion Show will be held at the Hillsboro/Leiper’s Fork Rec Center to benefit its sponsor, the Leipers Fork Merchants & Friends as well as the Kids On Stage Summer Academy.

The lunchtime event’s doors open at 11am with lunch by Constant Craving served at 11:30am. This season’s fashions will be introduced by the downtown Franklin boutiques of Emmaline’s, Enjoué, Gino, For Every Child, Haven and Ivey On Main and modeled by Advantage Models.

Upon arrival, ticket holders are automatically entered into a raffle that includes a two-night stay at the historic village’s newest inn, the recently renovated Claiborne Cottage, a dinner and music night at Puckett’s in Leiper’s Fork, and breakfast at the Country Boy Restaurant.

The event’s silent auction will include:

  • A painting by Butler Steltemeier
  • An antique table from Old Hillsboro Antiques
  • Dinner for two at the Tin Roof
  • A basket from Iris City Gardens
  • Artwork from Leiper’s Creek Gallery
  • Coffee table books and a framed Anne Goetze photograph from R Place Gallery & Bookstore
  • Gift baskets from Sérénité Maison and Neena’s Primitive Antiques & Gifts
  • Lunch for four at Backyard Café
  • A one-hour photo session with Anthony Scarlati
  • Gift certificates from downtown Franklin shops

Kids On Stage students will perform a short set immediately following lunch and preceding the runway show. Announcements of the raffle and silent auction winners will wrap up the fun, beginning by 1:15 p.m.

Tickets are $35 and can be picked up at any of the participating boutiques as well as the shops and restaurants of Leiper’s Fork.
