Band That Drum!

Williamson County Parks and Recreation announces new drum lesson classes at the Hillsboro-Leiper’s Fork Community Center and Fairview Recreation Complex. In “Rock, Rhythm & Roll,” a complete drum program for beginner to advanced drummers, students will learn how to read and write drum music, drum theory and all the rudiments and rolls drummers play while working with a band. (This class is also an excellent developmental opportunity for those students already involved in marching, jazz or symphonic band at their school).  Instructor, Frank Bayon teaches 4-week sessions and the cost is $60.00 per person, with a $20.00 supply fee for sticks and a practice pad.
