United Way of Williamson County wraps up its 50th year celebration, with an old fashion Sock Hop at CoolSprings Galleria’s center court on September 20, 2011 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The community is invited to Rock around the Clock, and watch your favorite school or area dance team perform. Local agencies supported by United Way will also be in center court, providing information about services and ways to get involved.

Performance groups include Courtney Cunningham/Michael Graves, BGA Dance, Heritage Middle School, Woodland Middle School, Franklin High School and the Tap ‘N Dolls. Along with talented dance groups, there will be giveaways and door prizes. A DJ will be spinning tunes for those who want to show off their jitterbugs, shags, swing, and ponies. So, lace up those saddle oxfords, put on that leather jacket or poodle skirt and join us on September 20th at center court in CoolSprings Galleria.
