Each month, they participate in Nashville Dental Society meetings, and every few months, they attend national conferences in keeping with state and federal regulations. “The Hinman conference in Atlanta is one of the best dental educational conferences in the South,” Dr. Northcutt explains. “Each year, we come back with a lot of new information — things that we wouldn’t know if we weren’t there.”
Continuing education is a vital component to Northcutt Dentistry’s practice and patient care.
“The technology is changing pretty quickly,” Dr. Northcutt says. “We’re learning improved techniques for just about all aspects of our practice on a regular basis. We wouldn’t know about many of these changes if we didn’t make it a point to stay informed and educated — by attending conferences, lectures, and researching on our own.
“Looking at the big picture, it’s really about providing the best care for our patients. We want them to benefit from what we’re learning. It makes a difference in their lives.”
