Ø The application deadline for the Nashville Symphony’s Accelerando music education program is February 15. Students interested in applying for the program are invited to attend upcoming informational meetings, at which Symphony staffers will be on hand to provide more information and answer questions:

Ø The Nashville Symphony is now accepting submissions for its Composer Lab & Workshop, an intensive program designed to identify the next generation of great American composers and help them develop their talents and gain hands-on experience working with a major American orchestra. Eligibility and application information is available online here. Nashville Symphony music director Giancarlo Guerrero and Composer Lab workshop director Aaron Jay Kernis are both available for interviews.
