FEBRUARY SWIM PROGRAMS AT THE LONGVIEW RECREATION CENTER
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce February swim programs at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Drive. Youth swim development and a home school swim program will be offered.
YOUTH SWIM DEVELOPMENT
Attention competitive swimmers! Youth swim development classes will be offered during February at the Longview Recreation Center. The purpose of the classes is to help summer competitive swimmers maintain and improve competitive swimming skills during the off season through stroke refinement and endurance skills. Classes for ages 6 & under will meet Wednesdays ONLY, February 4th – 25th from 4:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. The 6 and under class is $10 per month/per participant with a limit of 20 participants. Classes for ages 7 yrs. to 10 yrs. old will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays, February 2nd -25th, skip (2/16) from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Classes for ages 11 yrs. and older will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, February 3rd – 26th from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per month per/participant for each 4-week session. Classes are limited to 20-25 swimmers. Pre-registration is required for all classes in person on Saturday, January 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the Longview Recreation Center pool office. HOME SCHOOL SWIM PROGRAM
Home schoolers in Williamson County or Spring Hill needing a supervised physical education opportunity are invited to participate in the Home School Swim Program at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill. Classes will be held on Mondays, February 2nd – 23rd skip (2/16) from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. The cost of the 3-week session is $20 per participant with a limit of 20 participants. Pre-registration for the February class is required in person on Saturday, January 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the Longview Recreation Center pool office. Please register in person.
