Impact100 Nashville Hosts The Big Reveal Event on June 6th

Announces 2024 Grant Amount and Kicks-Off Annual Giving Cycle  

NASHVILLE, Tenn., – June 3, 2024 – Impact100 Nashville, an organization that empowers women to make transformative changes in their community, announces The Big Reveal, an in-person event on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, 3421 Belmont Blvd., in Nashville. The Big Reveal is the moment when Impact100 Nashville opens the annual grants cycle and announces the total dollar amount of their 2024 grants based on the number of members.

Each Impact100 Nashville member contributes $1,000 annually and has one vote to select deserving nonprofits in the community to be awarded a grant in the amount of $100,000. Dozens of nonprofits participate in a competitive grants review process that includes written proposals, site visits, and presentations. In 2023, the organization awarded $230,000 in grants to the following organizations:

  • ShowerUp – $100,000
  • Dream Streets – $100,000
  • Corner 2 Corner – $15,000
  • Rebuilding Together – $15,000

“We are thrilled to welcome new members to make an even greater impact this year to transform our communities in an innovative way,” says Joanne Sowell, president, board of directors, Impact100 Nashville. “Our grants help nonprofits solve an unmet need affecting our most vulnerable populations across Middle Tennessee.”

At The Big Reveal event, members and guests will have time to network and hear from featured speaker, Andrea Blackman, chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer, City of Nashville, Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County.

Impact100 Nashville has awarded $1,051,000 in grants to worthy causes in the community since its inception in 2014 and is one of more than 60 chapters in cities across the United States.

There is no cost to attend The Big Reveal but registration is required for all Impact100 Nashville members and guests. Registration is required here. Food, drinks and parking are provided.
