FIVE POINTS PIZZA TO HOST BEER DINNER WITH BELL’S BREWERY ON JAN. 31

Charlotte Avenue location event features annual Bell’s Hopslam and four other specialty beers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Five Points Pizza is partnering with Bell’s Brewery to host a beer event on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 6 – 10 p.m. at their west-side shop located at 4100 Charlotte Ave. The event will feature the annual and highly-anticipated release of Bell’s Hopslam beer, a double IPA clocking in at 10% ABV. The folks from Bell’s will also be showcasing four other specialty and hard-to-find releases, including the Uberon (barell-aged Oberon American Wheat Ale), 2018 Expedition Stout (Russian Imperial Stout), Larry’s Latest Flamingo Fruit Fight (tart fruit ale brewed with passionfruit and lime) and Lager of the Lakes (Bohemian Pilsner).

“We’ve partnered with Bell’s in the past for events and have always had a blast. The crew they are planning to send is super friendly and as beer savvy as they come. There are few opportunities to discuss these beers with the folks who actually know the recipes and processes,” said David Tieman, co-owner of Five Points Pizza. “They take their beer as seriously as we take our pizza, and it results in a really great combo – especially when it only comes around once a year.”

In addition to their full menu, Five Points Pizza will be serving its popular Hot Hawaiian pie topped with spicy capicola, pineapple, fresh jalapenos by the slice for the event.

Tieman added, “Paired with Hopslam, the Hot Hawaiian strikes a perfect balance of spice and sweet that compliments the hops and honey flavor profile of the beer.”

The Hot Hawaiian slice and Hopslam pairing will be offered as a $10 combo for the event. Additionally, guests can enjoy a $10 flight of Bell’s other hard-to-find specialty beers.

No tickets or reservations are needed for the event, and guests can drop by the 4100 Charlotte Ave. location of Five Points Pizza on Thursday, Jan. 31 any time between 6 -10 p.m. to enjoy the specials.
