Crush Yard Nashville Celebrates Ribbon Cutting in Brentwood, TN
Crush Yard Nashville officially celebrated its ribbon cutting in Brentwood on Monday, June 1, marking the grand opening of a new indoor pickleball, dining, and entertainment venue in Williamson County, TN.
Brentwood Mayor Nelson Andrews joined local officials and community members for the event, welcoming Crush Yard Nashville to Brentwood and recognizing the area’s growing interest in pickleball. Crush Yard founder and CEO David Hack and his family were also joined by members of the Crush Yard team for the grand opening celebration.
Located at 330 Franklin Road in Brentwood, Crush Yard Nashville combines indoor pickleball courts with a full-service restaurant, bar, sports viewing, games, private event space, golf simulators, and social areas designed for groups, families, coworkers, and casual players.
The ribbon-cutting followed a soft opening period that gave guests a first look at the courts and the building’s entertainment offerings before the full kitchen came online.
“We’ve had a soft opening for the past two weeks,” said Alyssa McDaniel, Senior Event Sales Manager for Crush Yard Nashville. “We started with our courts and got everybody in here and playing some pickleball. And then this past week, we got our kitchen open, so we have been serving food, and now we are 100% ready to go for the public today.”
McDaniel said the early response has been strong, especially from people looking for a place that combines indoor recreation with a kid-friendly social setting.
“The community is so excited to have the indoor pickleball courts and to have a space that is family-friendly, where they can come in and eat some dinner, play some games, and just really hang out,” McDaniel said.

Crush Yard Founder Brings Business and Family to Brentwood
For Crush Yard founder and CEO David Hack, the Brentwood opening is both a business milestone and a personal one. During the ribbon-cutting, Mayor Nelson Andrews shared that he first met Hack about a year ago, when Hack moved his family to the area as part of bringing Crush Yard to Brentwood.
Hack said the move has been meaningful for his family and for the company.
“We are very grateful to be here in Middle Tennessee, in Brentwood, we’re very thankful,” Hack said during the ceremony. “This has been a great opportunity for my family and me. Obviously, it’s a great opportunity for us to be part of this community.”
That focus on gathering was a recurring theme during the celebration. Hack described Crush Yard as a place built not just for pickleball, but for people to come together in different ways.
“This is all about fun for us,” Hack said. “Whether you want to come in and just hang out, watch a game, or you want to be on the simulators, or play some pickleball, or grab a board game, or whatever you want to do, it’s all about fun, socialization, community, enjoying good friends and family.”
Hack’s wife, Jennifer, introduced their family during the celebration and thanked the community for its support.
“We are so excited to be here. We’re so grateful,” she said. “Everybody’s been so welcoming, so kind, so thank you all, and we appreciate everybody’s support and patience as we got here.”

Crush Yard: A Pickleball Venue for Casual Players and Regulars
Crush Yard Nashville is built for a range of skill levels, from first-time players to regulars looking for indoor court time. Guests can reserve courts by the hour, bring their own paddles, or rent paddles on-site. Open play is also available daily.
McDaniel described Crush Yard as a “hybrid situation” because guests do not have to be members to play, eat, or spend time at the venue. However, Crush Yard does offer an optional passholder program for regular visitors. The passholder option includes unlimited soft drinks and coffee while on-site, discounts throughout the building, and discounted pricing on open play.
“You don’t have to be a passholder to come in for open play or any other time,” McDaniel said. “You just don’t get the discounts that the passholder gets.”
For people new to pickleball, Crush Yard Nashville offers several ways to learn the game. McDaniel said the venue’s pro, Chase Blocker, teaches group classes, individual lessons, and shot-specific clinics for those who want to work on a particular part of their game. Crush Yard also offers a Beginner 101 class for first-timers, with additional instruction available as players become more comfortable on the court.
“It’s absolutely a great place for them to learn,” McDaniel said. “We have an amazing pro.”

Food, Drinks, Games, and Private Events at Crush Yard Nashville
Crush Yard Nashville is also designed for guests who come for food, drinks, and group gatherings. The menu includes shareables, salads and wraps, pizzas, rice bowls, kids’ meals, and desserts, giving guests options for a quick bite, a casual meal, or food for a group. The bar offers signature cocktails, beer, and other drink options, making the venue a fit for post-game drinks, watch parties, and social outings.
The venue also offers other ways to spend time off the courts, including complimentary board games, TV and sports viewing, social events, Wednesday trivia with gift card prizes, and karaoke nights. A Swing Suite with golf simulators is also expected to open soon, adding another interactive entertainment option for guests who want to play beyond the pickleball courts.
In addition, McDaniel said the venue’s private event room can accommodate up to 80 people and includes full AV capabilities, making it a good fit for meetings, presentations, celebrations, fundraisers, and team-building outings.
“You can do meetings and presentations, and it’s actually a very, very quiet room, even though it is in a pickleball facility,” she said. “And then after your meeting, you can enjoy some team building and get some courts, and we have a full kitchen and full bar.”
That combination gives Crush Yard Nashville a flexible role in Brentwood: part sports facility, part restaurant and bar, part event space, and part gathering place.

Crush Yard Nashville: A New Entertainment Option for Brentwood and Williamson County
Crush Yard Nashville arrives as pickleball continues to grow in popularity across Middle Tennessee. The new Brentwood location gives Williamson County another indoor option for recreation, especially during hot, rainy, or cold weather when outdoor courts are less convenient.
For families, the venue offers a place where adults and kids can play, eat, watch games, or spend time together without committing to one activity for the entire visit. For businesses and groups, it adds another private event and team-building option in Brentwood.
For McDaniel, the opening is about giving the local community another place to gather.
“It’s a space that is family friendly,” she said, “where they can come in and eat some dinner, play some games, and just really hang out with the community.”
With its ribbon cutting complete and grand opening week underway, Crush Yard Nashville is now open for indoor pickleball, dining, private events, and casual get-togethers in Brentwood, TN.
